"Creating a Love for the game through a positive environment

- Exemplify and demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times.
- Know, understand, and respect the laws of the game. Beat opponents by skill and hard work, not cheating.
- Before, during, and after games, be respectful of opponents, game officials, and spectators.
- Maintain respectful exuberance when winning and emotional discipline when losing. Be a gracious and composed athlete.
- Maintain a positive attitude toward your teammates and coaches, regardless of the score. Play your best to the end of the game, regardless of the score
- Abide by your coach’s decisions regarding playing time and positioning.
- Soccer is a full contact sport and should be played physically. However, play your game so that no injury will be the result of your play
- Attend all games and practices and be prompt, don’t waste your coaches and teammates time
- Never use non-prescribed drugs, tobacco, or alcohol at practices, games, and other club functions. This rule is prescribed by Colorado Youth Soccer, Rules and Procedures, Section 17.1.
- Above all, play the game with joy and integrity. Be a good role model for younger players. You are responsible for your conduct and your sportsmanship. Your behavior represents your team, your family, and the Club.
Players that follow these rules should almost never receive red cards. However, if a red card is issued to a Club player due to violent conduct or poor sportsmanship, the following procedures must be followed each time:
- The player must provide a written explanation of the incident to the Club Director of Coaching and/or the Club Board of Directors.
- The player’s coach must also provide a written explanation of the incident to the Club Director of Coaching and/or Club Board of Directors
- The Club Director of Coaching and/or Club Board of Directors must promptly review the incident and make a recommendation to the player’s coach and/or directly to the player.
